Southern California might not seem like the most obvious place for country music lovers, but an upcoming event will soon show that country roots are strong even on the California coastline. OakHeart Country Music Festival celebrates is five-year anniversary this weekend – and you won’t want to miss it!
This annual event is held at Conejo Creek South (1300 E Janss Road) in Thousand Oaks. This year, the festivities start at 1:00 p.m. and continues until 10:00 p.m. Fun for the whole family, kids 12 and under get in free! Otherwise, general admission is $45 and VIP tickets are $99. So round up the gang and get ready for a memorable day enjoying great music and a great time!
This year’s lineup is impressive, as always. Headliners include Rodney Atkins, Josh Thompson, and Chase Bryant, joined by Honky Tonk BoomBox, Ryan Bexley, Hannah Rose, The Other Words, Jake Parr, Just Dave Band, The People, and Rebel Heart.
There will be two stages, plus a full bar and plenty of food trucks to keep you fueled for a full day of fun. The young ones will have a great time at the Kids Korral while you tear it up on one of the two dance floors. OakHeart is a favorite among locals, and you won’t want to miss a minute of the excitement!
Don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, cash (ATMs will be available but the event is cash-only), and plenty of water – it’s time to hoe down!
